I am Shyam Sundar Kannan, currently working at Hitachi Astemo, where I focus on advancing autonomous driving technology. I recently completed my Ph.D. in the Smart Machine and Assistive Robotics Technology (SMART) Lab at Purdue University, under the guidance of Dr. Byung-Cheol Min.

My research interests are at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, computer vision, and computational geometry, with a strong focus on their applications in autonomous vehicles. I have worked on a variety of research projects, from building mobile robots to racing high-speed autonomous cars. Check out the other tabs to learn more about me.
